Sort by Accusers, then look at the Lean column. The counts don't line up with party. They don't line up with wealth. Clinton and Trump — two of the most investigated men alive, hunted for decades by the opposing side — sit far below Cosby and Weinstein, who weren't primarily political targets at all. Bush 43, Obama, Bezos, and Zuckerberg hold the same offices and fortunes as the men above them, with essentially zero. If allegations were simply weapons aimed at power or party, this distribution would be impossible.
“Accusers” is not “proven acts.” The count reflects people who publicly came forward, not court findings. Cosby (~60) and Weinstein (80+) both had marquee convictions overturned on procedural grounds — the number and the legal result are different facts. Epstein’s figure is a settlement count (women paid), different again from adjudicated guilt.
Low counts can reflect no dam breaking, not innocence. #MeToo gave dozens of Cosby/Weinstein accusers permission to come forward at once. A single credible account can matter more than twenty thin ones. This table rebuts the motive claim (“it’s all political or financial”) — it is not a guilt-ranking.
Watch the wrong-Bush trap. The eight photo-op groping allegations belong to George H.W. Bush (41), late in life. George W. Bush (43), listed here, has no such record.
Contested figures. Trump’s ~26 is a press tally, not a court number, and floats by definition of “accuser”; his one legal result is the 2023 Carroll civil verdict. Weinstein’s “100+” appears in some coverage but “80+” is the consistently sourced figure. Zuckerberg is the one row I did not run a dedicated search on; no credible sexual-misconduct allegations are known, but treat it as “none on record” rather than a verified audit.
Statutes of limitations distort counts both ways — many Cosby accusers were legally barred from ever suing, so litigation totals understate accusation totals.
